about the artist

Elizabeth Gottshall is a camera woman from Atlanta, GA who has been following her passions for visual art and storytelling through film and photography for nearly a decade now. She first cut her teeth with an internship on a film and has continued to hone her skills and work in the camera department on union and non-union sets. She eventually established herself as an AC and camera operator, having worked on short and feature films, tv shows, documentaries, and commercials across the country including Georgia, Florida, Texas, Kentucky, South Carolina, and New York.

She has recently reignited her journey as a cinematographer and hopes to work more as a DP and camera operator for narrative projects. When not working, she is found reading books, writing her own projects, creating studio art pieces, or traveling to new places.

Ultimately, she wants to become a writer and director for films and television to create and share stories that are entertaining and engaging. She particularly wants to share stories about Asian Americans, women, and the queer community in order to give a voice to those unheard.
